NA plotsnear Mumbai exists in Khardi, Karjat,
Mahad, Lonavala and other small towns, which are close to the city. Most of them come under Raigad district. Many people like to spend weekends out of the
city. Since many homes in the city are now unaffordable to the middle class,
they have shown interest in plots outside the city. A family needs a nest,
which they can call of the own. Some buyers buy an acre or half to invest for
the future. Many people who still work in the city opt for picking up plots in
places like Khardi, Karjat, Murbad, Wada and Mahad. Each place has unique
features that make it livable. Many reputed developers are showing interest in
building closed communities in such small towns. The idea is to promote simple
and peaceful living.
